How to become member

To apply for a Labuan FSA licence, all Labuan insurance-related businesses are required to be members of the Labuan International Insurance Association (LIIA).
To apply for LIIA membership, applicant’s Insurance Manager is required to submit the following documents on behalf of the applicant.

LIIA Membership Application Form
Remittance advice for payment of membership fee
Form 7 – Certificate of Incorporation from Labuan FSA
Conditional approval letter from Labuan FSA.

Upon confirmation of membership, LIIA will issue an Official Receipt, which will then be submitted to Labuan FSA by applicant’s Insurance Manager as proof of LIIA membership.
Once the applicant has received the licence from Labuan FSA, the applicant’s Insurance Manager shall forward a copy of the licence to LIIA.
Upon receipt of the copy of applicant’s licence, LIIA will issue the Membership Certificate.
